Using this website
You are welcome to read, quote and link to anything here. We ask only that you do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its underlying systems, do not use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages, and do not republish whole pages as though they were your own work. A quotation with a link is fine and needs no permission.
Trademarks and third-party names
This site names the platforms we deploy and shows their logos and screenshots so you can identify them. That is nominative use — it identifies the products, and it does not imply that their owners endorse us or that we represent them.
- GLPI is developed by Teclib’. Zabbix is a registered trademark of Zabbix LLC.
- ZenTao, ProjeQtOr, Leantime, MantisBT, OPNsense, Grafana, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB and Microsoft SQL Server are the marks of their respective owners.
- PRINCE2® is a registered trademark of PeopleCert. IPTREK is not an accredited training organisation. We provide consulting, tailoring and organisation-specific coaching; we do not deliver accredited certification training and cannot issue PRINCE2 certificates.
- Screenshots are taken from the projects’ own materials or from our own deployments, and are shown to illustrate the platforms we configure.
- We describe ourselves as experienced implementers of these platforms. We are not a reseller and we hold no partner status unless it is stated explicitly on the relevant page.
Open-source licensing
- The software we deploy is licensed to you directly by its upstream copyright holders, under the terms those projects publish — GPL, AGPL, MIT, Apache and others depending on the component. IPTREK grants you no licence to that software and is not a party to it.
- The upstream warranty position passes through unchanged. Open-source licences almost universally disclaim warranties and liability. We cannot and do not extend a warranty over software we did not write.
- The assessment, the configuration, the integration, the documentation and the training are ours, and we stand behind them. That distinction is the honest one, and it is the same distinction any competent integrator should draw.
- Third-party plugins and paid components. Where an engagement uses a commercially licensed component, it is identified in the scope along with who buys the licence, in whose name it is registered, and what it costs to renew. We do not resell such licences or take a margin on them.
We update these terms when how we work changes. The date at the top tells you when they last did.
