We work with established open-source projects and vendors whose products we deploy, integrate and support. These are the platforms our practice is built on.
A note on wording: we describe ourselves as experienced implementers of these platforms. Where a formal partner or reseller agreement exists, it is stated on the relevant service page. We would rather be precise about that than imply endorsements we do not hold.
Platforms we deploy
Zabbix
Enterprise infrastructure and network monitoring. Our primary monitoring platform, deployed from single-site installations to distributed multi-branch estates with remote proxies.
Grafana
Dashboards and observability. Deployed alongside monitoring to turn operational metrics into reporting that management and capacity planners can use.
GLPI
IT service management and asset management with a full CMDB, inventory automation and licence and contract tracking.
Tuleap
Application lifecycle management โ requirements, trackers, documents, source control and release baselines with the traceability links between them preserved.
MantisBT
Focused issue and defect tracking with rigorous workflow control โ suited to traceability and audit requirements.
Leantime
Lightweight project management for non-specialists โ goals, boards, milestones and time tracking for business departments.
PostgreSQL
Our default recommendation for new deployments and the most common migration target for institutions reducing proprietary licence cost.
MySQL and MariaDB
Widely deployed across application estates; supported for administration, clustering, backup and migration.
Microsoft SQL Server
Administration, Always On availability groups, backup and migration โ including migration away from it where licence cost is the driver.
OPNsense
Open-source firewall and routing โ filtering, segmentation, VPN and intrusion prevention, on the same ownership terms as everything else we deploy.
PRINCE2 Agile
The governance method we assess against, tailor and configure into your delivery tooling. PRINCE2 is a registered trademark of its owner; see the note below.
Why open source
Every platform above is one you could, in principle, run without us. That is intentional. It means the value we sell is expertise and integration rather than access โ and it means an engagement with us does not create a dependency you cannot exit.
